Turn to V-VAX Cape May Oil to soothe a wide range of symptoms or to create a meditative mood.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Bath: After pouring a very warm bath, put 3-6 drops of this oil in after the tub is full, and relax for at least 20 minutes. This helps to calm the nervous system and ease tension after a long day. Because Cape May acts as a diuretic, bathing in this oil could help alleviate water retention.

Colds, Flu, Sore Throat: Pour very warm water with steam rising from it into a medium size glass or ceramic bowl. Put 1-2 drops of Cape May in the water, bend your face and throat area over the bowl, cover your head with a towel and steam your face, breathing as deeply as possible. This can ease the discomfort associated with colds and sore throats, as well as help clear the mind of distress.

Mental and Emotional Stress: Use 2-4 drops in an aromatic diffuser with fresh spring water during the day to assist in clearing the mind of negative fearful thoughts.

For a particularly stressful day at home or in the office, place one drop in the palms, rub them together and inhale 9 times* or in multiples of 9 with a break in between. This is useful for bringing greater peace of mind to support both reduction of nervous tension as well as encourage peaceful, gentle communication. Can serve as a "repellent" for negative attitudes.

This could also be very useful at the onset of a cold or sore throat, when such "agitation" first becomes apparent.

Outdoor Recreation: Put 4-8 drops in rose hip seed oil as a carrier oil in an 8-12 oz. bottle. Lubricate those areas of the body exposed to the elements when gardening, camping, kayaking, hiking, walking, bicycling, etc. - wherever there is a high mosquito and insect population. If more Cape May oil is required, more drops may be used in the carrier oil for greater effectiveness, since there is not such a strong camphor smell as in other repellents.

Cape May can also be added to candles, soaps and oil burners as an insect repellent, much as citronella, to deflect the attention of insects and mosquitoes.

*Nine Inhalation Series: Place one drop of Cape May in the palms and rub together for several seconds. Cup the palms over the nose and inhale. Remove the palms when ready to exhale. Do not exhale into the palms containing the oil. Do this in a steady, rhythmic manner nine times, or in multiples of nine.
