Airborne Germ Factories

The University of Wisconsin recently released a report which shows that as many as 41% of all passengers traveling during winter are carrying some kind of respiratory infection. Airplanes are the perfect incubators for the replication and spread of pathogens. It's the standard practice of commercial airlines to recycle the air in the passenger cabins to help improve fuel mileage and reduce operating costs. On a seven hour flight, the same air has to be recycled a total of 20 times. It's easy to see how one passenger with a respiratory infection could infect an entire planeload of passengers. Better ventilation systems would go a long way to improving the situation but don't count on that happening anytime soon. The recent SARS scare resulted in certain airlines handing out surgical masks to passengers in the hope that the masks would act as a barrier to any airborne virus in the cabin. There is, however, a simple and inexpensive technique to help protect yourself during short and long flights or in any situation where you know you're going to be confined with a group of people in close quarters.

V-Vax is a very high grade organically grown eucalyptus oil that is extremely effective at combating airborne pathogens. A natural antiseptic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal, V-Vax eucalyptus oil offers excellent protection against all forms of disease producing micro organisms that attack the upper respiratory system. Our recommendation to anyone considering an airplane journey, is first and foremost to keep your hands as clean as possible. A small container of non-alcohol hand sanitizer will go a long way to combating any germs that are residing in your immediate seating environment. It's easy to apply and dries almost immediately on air contact. Every half an hour, mist a few squirts of V-Vax into a tissue and inhale deeply. Continue inhaling and exhaling until the tissue is dry. Not only will you be shielding yourself from any airborne pathogens but you will feel clearheaded and relaxed throughout your journey. You'll arrive at your destination with the security of knowing that you aren't about to be confined to bed with a debilitating illness that will have you wishing you never made the trip in the first place.
